Bruins’ Dougie Hamilton, OHL’s Most Outstanding Defenseman

CBS BostonThe Boston Bruins’ season may be over, but one of their stars of the future is making news. Boston’s 2011 first round pick Dougie Hamilton has won the Ontario Hockey League’s Max Kaminsky Trophy for the most outstanding defenseman.

Whoot whoot, something to celebrate regarding the Bruins! Niagra IceDog and Bruin prospect Dougie Hamilton led all OHL defensemen with 17 goals and 55 assists in 50 games. This kid is 18-years-old, looks like he’s 13, and plays like he’s Nicklas Lidström. Face the facts, the Bruins are stacked for the future. A few days a go I was drinking due to depression from the Bruins. Today I am drinking to celebrate Dougie Fresh and the future Bs. #TradeThomas2012
