Boston has officially beaten the bag out of Toronto this season. Four unanswered 1st period goals, 3 unanswered in the 2nd, and 1 snipe in the 3rd. With that said, the Bruins have outscored Toronto 36-10 in the 6-game season series.
Boston looked unreal throughout this game. They completely dominated play and didn’t give an inch to Toronto. They were skating, making solid passes, and were responsible in their own zone. I’d like to thank both the Panthers and Lightning for waking the Bruins up. Also, a shout out to Philly. Thanks for being the slump-buster that we needed to right the ship.
Tough to pick a player of the game when the team as a whole, plays unreal. However, the Kelly-Pouliot-Rolston line was firing on a another level. I don’t know where the hell this came from, but dammit I dig it.
If I’ve said it before, I’ve said it 76 times; when the Bruins play physical they are one of the best teams in the league. When they are emotionally invested in a game, they are damn near unbeatable.
Lucic and Campbell threw down hard. Great to see Lucic playing with that edge again.
Huge win. Awesome win. “Thank you Kessel,” chants rained down as the Bruins put up a snowman at the Garden. Suck it Kessel.
