Yahoo Sports – Green Bay Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk will no longer have golden locks peeking out from underneath his helmet every Sunday. He cut his hair and donated it to “Hawk’s Locks for Kids.” Hawk and his wife are partnering with Wigs for Kids, a charity that makes wigs for children who have lost their hair to chemotherapy. “No child should have to feel ashamed of themselves due to a disease. We are hoping to raise enough money and hair donations to change many lives!” Hawk said through Twitter.
Looks like A.J. Hawk will be looking nice and clean alongside his barbarian of a teammate Clay Matthews (who is still sporting his flow). Still the gruesome twosome, but it looks like Hawk is a much better person. All due respect to Clay Matthews and the discount double check, but he didn’t cut his hair for kids who went through chemo. Tisk tisk Clay.
