Matthew Slater looks like Goo from “My Brother and Me”

Patriots captain and special teams Pro Bowler Matthew Slater has helped the Patriots go 13-3 and earn a first round seed in the playoffs. Although Slater is a special teams player and his impact on games isn’t huge, his coaches and teammates respect the hell out of him.

And they might respect him a little more after they finally realize that Slater resembles the character Goo from the legendary Nickelodeon show “My Brother and Me”. It’s all in his cheeks. Slater’s face is identical to the much dumber, chubbier Goo.

No body knows where Goo is these days. Maybe he was one of those child stars that drank and smoked week when they were nine years old and just progressively got worse with drugs. So Slater has the upper hand in the career category. But, Slater never got to act alongside NBA great Kendall Gill on live television. Something only the lucky are able to do. Touche Goo, touche.

“Although Slater is a special teams player and his impact on games isn’t huge.” Thankfully, Robert Kraft, Bill Belichick, Pro Football Writers Association (PFW/PFWA), and the NFL feel differently as Slater resigned, was All-Pro and selected to the Pro Bowl last year.
