Above is Bruins forward Daniel Paille, roughly a week later after getting smashed in the face with the puck. Paille was trying to defend a shot in last weeks game, and he was successful. Unfortunately his face/nose stopped the shot. So after a nose surgery or two, Paille’s face is taking shape again…sort of. He’ll probably have long term breathing problems and constant random nose bleeds for the rest of his life, but it’s good to have him back on the ice.
Rumor has it that Paille could be back as soon as Thursday. Hopefully it won’t be a bloodbath like the last he played.
