8.5 lbs of weed found in Bengals player’s house

USA Today – Authorities swooped in on a house owned by Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jerome Simpson after a package containing 2.5 pounds of California marijuana was allegedly delivered to the home. Investigators found 6 more pounds of pot inside the home, says Michelle Gregory, spokeswoman for the California Department of Justice.

You’re telling me a player on the Cincinnati Bengals is buying and selling weed out of his house?! A stand up individual like Jerome Simpson can’t be guilty. I mean he plays for the Bengals, a team full of morally outstanding citizens. Alright, so maybe the players on the Bengals don’t have a great reputation, but this is bologna. I think Mr. Simpson was under the same assumption as the rest of us that weed is legal in California. I know there is a limit to how much weed is acceptable and you can’t technically buy or sell it, or whatever the law is, but do they really enforce that either? These cops must be huge Steeler fans because this is bush league.
