As if it wasn’t bad enough losing to the friggin’ Lions, there was some insult added to the injury. Wes Welker, one of the best slot receivers in the game, suffered a neck injury. Now I am not a doctor, but that doesn’t sound good. The Lions ate our lunch last night and Suh pissed me right the hell off with his weak attempt at throwing a punch. Grow up. But it’s the pre-season, doesn’t mean shit. The real concern, now shifts to Welker.

Welker had a solid year last season, and he still has the most receptions in the NFL since 2007. He is a great security blanket for Tom Brady and New England. The Patriots aren’t saying much about the injury, big surprise, but I hope it’s nothing major. Maybe all it requires is a little icy hot and a gin and tonic.
