The Knicks acquired Tyson Chandler and Baron Davis this off-season, adding more talent to their squad that consists of All-stars Carmerlo Anthony and fellow Jew Amare Stoudemire. And if that’s not enough to hate the Knicks coming into this season, let me introduce to you Renaldo Balkman. Balkman was traded to the Knicks from Denver in the Carmelo Anthony block buster deal last February. He only played 3 games for the Knicks last year due to injury, but he is healthy and ready to go this year.
So why hate the Knicks because of this man? Look no further than, well, Balkman’s face. If he hasn’t self proclaimed himself as the ugliest man in the NBA already then I will do it for him. Renaldo Balkman is the ugliest man in the NBA. And playing against an ugly athlete is bad. Because not only will Balkman think his role with the Knicks is much larger than it actually is, but seeing a beyond ugly man celebrate after a basket or in worst case scenario a win is gut wrenching. It’s like seeing a homeless guy with no teeth eating a chicken salad sub. It’s just revolting.
So when the Celtics face off against the Knicks on Christmas Day, try to steer your eyes away from Renaldo Balkman. It won’t be easy to ignore his strange facial structure, but it’s a must if you want to enjoy the game.
