NESN – Moss was golfing in Bellingham, Mass., on Thursday. The Dennis and Callahan producer [Ian "Iggy" Meropol] was hoping to get some information out of Moss and ask about the rumors that had him returning to the Patriots for one more go-round with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. He did manage to ask Moss if the receiver would be back at Gillette this year, and the response was succinct.
“No, uh-uh, man. I’m done,” Moss said. He didn’t really expand on his comments, either. “I’m just here golfing, minding my business.”
On the plus side, Moss said he golfed pretty well and that his truck team is looking good.
Well, it looks like that’s all she wrote when it comes to Randy Moss’ career in the NFL. Probably the saddest thing I’ve heard all day. Not that I thought he could still play, but seeing him back with the Patriots would have been epic. At least the guy thinks he can golf and own some Nascar trucks, so maybe once he realizes he wont make it anywhere with those careers he will come back in three months.
